Alaina LaPlante, Reiki Master

Meet Alaina, the founder and creator of Desert Sage Reiki.

​

As an experienced holistic practitioner, she combines her knowledge of human anatomy and function along with over 15 years of body, mind and movement practices.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance education in 2011, then in 2012 she completed her Masters of Education in Occupational Therapy from Springfield College. While in college, she discovered the beauty of energy healing and received her level one Reiki attunement. In 2016 she went on to complete levels two and three and has been practicing since.

She created this company in hopes of bridging the gap between the traditional medical model with complimentary alternative healing modalities. With the utmost passion and dedication, she is eager to help people learn how to connect with their body, mind and spirit to promote balance and ease for the soul.

​

She spends her spare time practicing yoga, hiking, camping and exploring new lands with her husband and two adventure dogs, Kali & Lily.
